Welcome to my power pole of the world. Line life is uniquely challenging, but very rewarding. I want Lineman Swag to be at the top of mind for our community and a place where we can come together to learn, grow and show the world that together, we keep the lights on.
I’ve been in the Line life industry as a Lineman Wife for over 16 blessed years. My Lineman, my loving husband, works hard each and every day. Sometimes, his days at work can turn into weeks, and sometimes months. I’ve sat at home many nights, praying for his safety and quick return home. On top of his long day job, my husband competes in Lineman Rodeos across the country, to test his knowledge and improve his craft. In fact, he has become a Divisional National Champion with his team . But with such accomplishments and achievements, we face hardships at home.
We both understand the importance, and danger, of hard blue collar work. While he works at the top, I work on the foundation; our home. We have been blessed with three wonderful children that are in a way each a full-time job. Watching my children sprout and grow into such dynamic individuals, I can’t help but love every second of it. On top of being a proud mother, I have also become a Black Business Owner. I understand what it means to hustle and I understand the day-to-day challenges we face. And above all, I understand that it isn’t easy to make it out there.
I created this business to bring light to the struggles Linemen families face when they’re away from home. It’s hard being such a family-oriented mother and watching my husband walk out that door, not knowing what God might have planned for him. I’m lucky to have such loving children that are there for me at my lowest points.
Lineman life is not for the faint of heart. I respect my husband and the danger he endures to provide for our family. I need everyone to know that I am here and want to support other families as much as I can. My experiences and hardships are something that I want to represent with you. I hope that Lineman Swag can proudly represent our shared values. God Bless.
