After he’s worked long hours of work

You want his love attention, intimacy, affection and acknowledgment. But yet he’s tired and he fails to give that affection, although not for lack of effort or love. He just wants to exercise his independence and decide how he wants to spend his time at the end of the day. You, as his wife, think differently, and when he comes home you have already made a schedule for him with intimacy, communication, and housework. However, you do this without really considering his day or his mental and emotional state. While he comes home and also not considering your day because if you’re a stay at home mom it is believed you can take breaks when you want to🤷‍♀️. Which may be true but you’re never off duty and those breaks may only last minute 🤦‍♀️🥴… So, is it truly miscommunication for line wives and other wives with husbands that work in blue-collar jobs with long hours. I believe it’s miscommunication as a line wife and being in the line life. I’ve had my experiences, I can understand the challenges and the toll on the intimacy. In result, you can either become very needy or very independent, you have to find the right balance!
